This is an Ithaca model 37 mainspring installation tool that we made. It is steel and works with both long and short tang model 37s. Slide it over the tang, lock in place with the top screw, tap the stop pin out or in. Super simple, quick, and easy. It keeps the mainspring cap from going into orbit. The trigger plate is NOT included, it is there to show you how the tool works.
